Giraffes[1] are real-world giraffids that first and only appeared in Mario Kart World. They are only found in Faraway Oasis and the savanna region that the track surrounds.
Giraffes wander around slowly. Making contact with one causes the player to spin out. When giraffes appear, the player will be forced to take a path around them.
