Super Mario Bros. 3 Bōken Meiro is a collection of mazes and puzzles based on Super Mario Bros. 3, written and illustrated by Yukio Sawada. It was published on Gakushū Yōchien in 1989.

まんなかにある はっぱをとって、しっぽマリオになろう。 そしてゴールまでいってね。(Grab the leaf in the center and become Racoon Mario. Then make it to the goal.)

パタクリボーに つかまらないように、 コインをとりにいこう。(Go and collect the coins without getting caught by the Para-Goombas.)

キノピオのいえまで たからばこをとりに いこう。てきにつかまら ないようにしてね。(Go to Toad's house to get the treasure chest. Try not to get caught.)

A maze set in Grass Land with Toad's House as the goal. The dead ends lead to a different enemy each: a Bob-omb, a Boomerang Brother, a Piranha Plant, and a Hot Foot. A Boss Bass and a Lakitu are also present as background characters.

さばくとピラミッドをぬけてゴールへ すすもう。(Make your way to the pyramid and get to the goal)

A maze set in the Desert Land divided in two parts. The first one, which is the path leading to the pyramid, as the following enemies at the dead ends: a Lakitu throwing a Spiny Egg, a Buster Beetle, a Fire Brother, a Fire Snake, and a Chain Chomp. The second half is set inside the pyramid and the goal can be reached by exiting near the top and surpassing the rising Angry Sun's eyebrows.

カエルマリオになったよ。にきをやっつけながらどかんにとびこめ。(You've become Frog Mario. Leap into action while defeating the enemies.) - なにがいるかな。じゅんばんにてんをつないで ごらん。(Who goes there? Try connecting the dots in order.)

A maze located in the waves of Water Land and featuring Frog Mario, this two divided in two parts. In the first half, a "connect the dots" puzzle will reveal a Blooper. In the second part, the wave maze continues and in two points, the reader must get pass a Big Bertha and a Jelectro.

さいごはおしろに つかまっている ピーチひめを たすけてね。(Lastly, save Princess Peach held on top of the castle.)

A maze set in a fortress surveilled by Morton, Ludwig, Roy, Lemmy, and Wendy. There are no obstacles and the goal leads to Princess Peach, who is imprisoned at the top.
